As we all know, Easter is about some old dude gettin’ resurrected n’ stuff - well, to the Christians anyway.

And thats tops.

But for the rest of us, we are all presented with a long weekend full of chocolate eggs, celebrating religious types and really, really bad TV.

Thats why the fine folks at TikiBarTV have released an episode of their podcast dedicated to the game of The Bunnies. Bunnies, as you all know is what Easter is to the rest of us who don’t go to church and sing Kumbaya (they do that right?). Apparently some gigglepot decided that chocolate easter bunnies and eggs would be ace for the rest of us heathens who will burn in hell sometime past tomorrow.

But what if you don’t like chocolate bunnies?

I know I’m not a huge fan of chocolate bunnies - it adds to my already huge posterior. .. so what can I do to celebrate the weekend of bunnies?

Well, why not celebrate these bunnies by getting absolutely trashed.

Why duh!

Oh, don’t bother about this safe sex thing as well - we don’t have enough pregnant teenagers these days.

This is quite possibly the most important movie you could ever watch before going into the workplace. I know it isn’t in English - but you HAVE to watch it to the end.

Ok… really, this is unfair.

I’ve been looking around Perth for the past month for a Wii. This elusive little electronic beastie has sold out and made me pout and whinge a lot. Now it has been announced that Guitar Hero will be coming to the platform.

If you are in Perth and can hook me up with a Wii at the RRP - please contact me. I promise that I will have sex with your mother if you do.

Yes, thats right.

I went to a Peter Andre concert.

I am not ashamed.

It was around 1993, I was a wee little lad and I had a friend who worked at 6PMFM (the Perth radio station which today we know as simply 92.9) . He sent be a handful of concert passes for the “Teenage Rampage”, a series of summer concerts held by Coca Cola. I loved him for it. He was a 30 year old man. My manlove was denied.

The biggest show that summer was East 17 with Peter Andre as support act. It was at the Entertainment Centre and sold out in a matter of… uh.. months.

I remember the scream of the crowd and all the adoring fans pointing at me, laughing. Laughing with joy as they knew I was a true fan.

I went to the show with a signed Peter Andre concert shirt and was at the front of the mosh pit.

Peter Andre signed it:

“To Chris, my adoring fan. Love, Peter Andre”.

He loved me!

I thought I was the coolest kid in the world.

Y’know what?

I still am.

About this time I also fell in love with the Disney classic Aladdin and watched it in the cinemas no less than 13 times. I even asked Gemma Dalliston, a cute waif redhead in my grade to go see the movie with me. She said no and I cried that night and vowed to throw my lunch at her the next day.

I never did.

Gemma, if you’re out there… I still will get my revenge you heartless shadow beast whore!

*cough*

Fast forward 14 years later and I find myself surfing YouTube and I stumble on a clip of Peter Andre doing a cover of the song “A whole new world” - the hit song from the Aladdin soundtrack.
